No. We charge only for our time on-site, from an hour before the deposition start time to a half-hour after. We don’t charge for lunch.

The minimum charge is three hours.

What’s your cancellation policy?

There’s no cancellation fee if the deposition is cancelled with more than 24 hours’ notice. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, there’s generally a three-hour minimum cancellation fee, though we may waive this fee under certain circumstances.

Can you do streaming video depositions?

Yes. Live deposition video can be streamed worldwide. Just give us notice so that we can coordinate the necessary arrangements.

Can you provide a copy of the video deposition on-site?

Yes. Just give us notice when you schedule the deposition and you can leave the deposition with a copy of the video on DVD, playable in any consumer DVD player and on most newer computers.

What’s the difference between a DVD-ROM and a DVD Video?

A DVD Video is just like the videos you rent at the video store: it’s high quality, only for playback. A DVD-ROM uses a DVD disk for data storage, just like you might with a CD-ROM. Because it can hold up to 4.7 GB of data, it can hold an entire day’s testimony on a single disk in MPEG-1 format. These MPEG-1 files have lower video quality, but are easily editable, and can be used in all trial presentation software, as well as in PowerPoint.
